Organization Background History
The vision for Hallelujah Praise Ministries, Incorporated was first given back in May of '2006 to Mrs. Devon Wilford-Said - Minister, Founder Author, and Humble Servant when commissioned by the Holy Spirit to write a book entitled, "Hallelujah Praise and Worship Manual." The purpose of the book was to equip hurting women in the faith with the necessary tools to overcome oppressive fears and doubts that would hinder their right-standing relationship with God. This would be implemented by teaching, ministering to, and training disciples from the principles written in the book.
In January 2009 Min. Wilford-Said, the organization's founder wrote a mission plan for the Hallelujah Praise Ministries. And later on in the month of December '2010 before her book had officially published a door was opened by the Lord through Elder Jacqueline Strawder-Perrera a devoted sister in the faith who invited Minister Wilford-Said to teach a monthly Bible Study for seniors and the elderly that resided in an Assisted Living Facility located in East Baltimore, Maryland. Elder Strawder-Perrera was more than honored to be of service to what the Lord was doing through Hallelujah Praise Ministries and presently continues to serve on in a voluntary capacity as Prophetic Overseer, and Personal Armor Bearer to Min. Wilford-Said.
After all the struggles and temporary setbacks, the organization is now reorganized as of December 2010; and the Hallelujah Praise and Worship Manual was published that following year back in the month March 2011. The organization was incorporated as a charitable educational faith-based nonprofit in January 2012 and is in the process of obtaining its 501-C'3 tax-exempt status pending funding resources made available. However, the organization does have a current 501'C-3 Federal tax-exempt fiduciary partner courtesy of The Honorable Rev. Pastor Charles Dunn, Jr., CEO of the Freedom Missionary Community Church of Baltimore, MD 21218.
The HPM Ministries continues its monthly Bible Study fellowship program called, [The Gathering: Bible Study Fellowships for Women and Men] and is in the process of implementing a Bible Study on wheels program initiative called the: [Word-Up Bible Study on Wheels] Program.
The Hallelujah Praise "Church Without Walls Prophetic Ministry" was designed to incorporate the prophetic administrations of the Office of the Prophet in partnership with a local prophetic ministry covering that will assist in activating the prophetic gifts and anointings for believers who have become active participants in the [Hallelujah Praise Church Without Walls Prophetic Ministry School of the Prophets] that will be coordinated and taught by Elder-Prophetess Jacqueline Strawder-Perrera.
HPM has also partnered with the Women Healing Each Other Now (WHEN) Ministry Group a community outreach ministry under the auspices of the organization founded by The Late--Mrs. Lucinda Adhikari, Founder, and Evangelist. ###
